Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, cautioned President Bola Tinubu on Monday, predicting that the exchange rate would reach N1,700 per dollar and a bag of rice would cost N90,000.

He emphasized the need for a solution to address the ongoing economic turmoil, warning of an impending crisis if not addressed.

Primate Ayodele urged the government to enhance security, reduce food prices, ensure adequate electricity, and promote local products to stabilize the economy.

He expressed concern that the current measures taken by the administration may lead to increased inflation until 2026.

In his words;

‘’If Tinubu’s government doesn’t do the needful, the economy will not balance till 2026.”

“They need to put security in place, reduce the prices of food commodities, provide enough electricity and promote local products. This will help the government and will crash the dollars.”

‘’All these measures they are taking will not work; it will just lead to inflation. If they don’t do the right thing, Nigeria will buy dollars for N1,700, a bag of rice will cost N90,000 and it will kill the economy. They don’t seem to have ideas will not help the situation.’’
