Yul Edochie, a Nigerian actor, producer and politician, has opined that a large percentage of religion is “scam.”

The Nollywood veteran claimed that religion was created centuries ago by men with the purpose of dividing and ruling over others.

Yul Edochie stated via his official Instagram page that religion is making people despise each other, which is the opposite of God’s teachings that emphasizes love for one another.

He wrote;

“A large percentage of Religion na scam. Cooked up centuries ago by men, to control, divide and rule others. God teaches us to love one another. While religion is making us hate each other.”
