Buhari And Osinbajo To Spend N11.92Billion On Traveling

The presidential aviation fleet, as well as domestic and international travel, will cost the offices of the President and Vice-President N11.92 billion.

This information was included in the 2023 Appropriation Bill that President Muhammadu Buhari presented to the Joint Session of the National National Assembly on Friday, October 7.

According to DailyPost, the sum also includes N1.60 billion set aside for the overhaul of the Gulfstream GV and CL605 aircraft engines and N1.58 billion designated for aircraft maintenance.

Additionally, it was revealed that the Vice-office President’s will spend N846.61 million on the same thing while the Office of the President will receive N2.49 billion for domestic and international travel.

Meanwhile, members of the National Assembly will get N100billion for constituency projects, which, according to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, have been characterised by corruption.
