The call for the arrest of Malami was made by a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has been told to arrest Nigeria’s Attorney-General of the federation, Abubakar Malami for trading Bitcoin.

This comes after Malami had on Tuesday posted a screenshot to show that he has deactivated his Twitter.

However, it was discovered from the screenshot he posted that he uses a cryptocurrency, LAtoken to trade bitcoin. It was also discovered that he used VPN to access his Twitter account.
