Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Oyo Protest Against EFCC

Suspected internet fraudsters in Oyo took to the streets today to protest against the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) activities in the state.

The protesters boldly held different placards and banners with inscriptions demanding the stop of all EFCC affairs in the street, especially against internet fraudsters.

One of the protesters who spoke to reporters said the EFCC should leave them alone since they only try to collect their fathers’ money from their victims.

The EFCC reacted to the protest and described it as a ‘campaign of calumny.’

EFCC on Twitter wrote:

“The EFCC’s mandate is to rid Nigeria of all forms of economic and financial crimes and will not be deterred by mere campaign of calumny.”
