Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar paid his former principal Olusegun Obasanjo a visit in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Saturday to discuss his Presidential ambition in 2023.
Atiku, who is nursing another shot at the presidency, arrived Obasanjo’s Hilton Towers at 10:10am.
The businessman was Obasanjo’s deputy between 1999 and 2007. The duo fell out towards the end of their second term. They have since reconciled.
Atiku had also visited Obasanjo when he was contesting for the presidency in 2015.
The former Vice President faces stiff competition for the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with the likes of media mogul Dele Momodu and former Senate President Bukola Saraki eyeing the ticket ahead of the 2023 polls.
